By the mid 1980's we were in desperate need for more room so the construction of the 2nd phase (6000 sq. ft. multipurpose building) was begun and completed in 1988. It was during the roofing
of this building that Brother Fields fell 28 feet nearly loosing his life. We are thankful the Lord gave him 12 more great years to lead us.

Pastor Fields went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2000. He is remembered for his dedicated life of early Morning Prayer, fasting, love for truth and the souls of men. His legacy will
live on for some time. Many preachers and pastors have come from this church and Bro Fields ministry.

The Oxnard Church has long been known for its revival spirit. Countless men and women have found the Lord and come to the knowledge of the truth here. Surely the vision of many hands raised in
surrender and praise has come to pass and continues to this day.
