After having a vision in prayer for the city of Oxnard, Rev. Kenneth D. Fields, his wife Joyce, their children Karon, Ronda and Kenny sold their home and resigned their Church in McFarland,
California and moved to Oxnard. |

New Beginnings |

The United Pentecostal Church of Oxnard began in 1969, holding their first services in a rented house at 2220 Samuel Street. One year later there was a thriving Sunday school and the need for
larger facilities. |

New Construction |
|

| |
After much prayer and searching, a site was purchased in South Oxnard at 700 East Pleasant Valley Road. With help from a Christmas for Christ offering and much labor the first phase of
construction was completed. The Church family moved to their new location for services in January of 1975. |
